Last night’s Allie Theiss Show, Monte and I discussed Spiritual Contracts, Soul Contracts and the difference between the two. Let’s see if I understood correctly – if I confuse you then obviously I’m still confused.
Spiritual Contracts are contracts we entered into with ourselves before we became human. It’s an ironclad contract and there is no way in hell you can get out of it. If you signed yourself up to struggle financially for everything you have – then that’s the way it’s going to be. If you put in there that relationships have to come to you, then anytime you pursue someone it will fail.
If in your contract you have it that you need to put forth the effort in a relationship, then no matter what relationship you’re in, you are the one who has to do the work.
Soul Contracts are contracts that you enter into with your soul group. In this soul group can be lovers, parents, siblings, friends, enemies and children — these are your karmic relationships. You and whomever enter into an agreement, but that agreement is not binding. It can be broken.
What we did not talk about is if the contract is broken – what happens then? Does it get rewritten for the next life? Or is it just dropped and you move forward.
