Motivational Minute: You Snooze You Lose

What do you do when your alarm goes off?

I like to snooze. So, I don’t know about you — but I hate that flippin’ alarm! It usually scares me and my cats & dogs.

Normally, if it’s Monday I’m shouting obscenities.

Wednesday hits and I’m “Let’s get going!”

When Friday hits I’m mumbling “Thank God it’s Friday.”

But every day, without fail, I hit the snooze button. It’s a bad habit I’m trying to break – and you should try to break it too.

So, for your 60 second motivational minute for the week…

One phrase that can quickly zap your motivation, “Just five more minutes.” When you hit your snooze button, you’re starting your day off by procrastinating the inevitable task of getting up and going. Having an extra five minutes in bed in the morning isn’t going to do you any favors and will kill your motivation.
