resilience

You’ve heard the saying, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

I don’t know about you, but when I hear it, I want to tell someone to go f@uck themselves.

I’m tired of being stronger. However, I’d rather be stronger than dead.

The dictionary says that resilience is a noun:

1. the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
2. the ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity.

We all experience resilience when we get our heart broken and put ourselves out again for love.

Resilience is what entrepreneurs & creatives need to get back on the horse when their creation doesn’t wow anyone.

Families give us an endless supply of opportunities to strengthen our resilience.

So, for your 60 second motivational minute for today…

If you’re listening to me, that means your above ground and have survived. You have resilience. Think of something that knocked you down that you haven’t gotten back up yet & get back up. No matter what it is, if it doesn’t go well, you will survive because you have resilience.
