If you clocked how much time you spend on social media per day, how much time do you think that would be?
30 min?
An hour?
A few hours?
It’s a given that the time on social media can be better spent working on your goals. But there’s another reason to put a limit on social media.
So, for your 60 second motivational minute for the week…
We are all unique, so stop comparing yourself with others. One way to do that is by spending so much time on social media. Give yourself a set time for social media and then that’s it for the day. If you can’t limit yourself, there are apps that can help – such as Cold Turkey, FocusMe, or Flipd.
Instead, of looking at social media and comparing your life with the lives you follow – you need to pay attention to you. Learn to accept yourself completely, all the good and the bad – we have plenty of both. I’m going to bet you remember the bad, because that’s what crops up first for many people. Why? Because most of us spend too much time on autopilot with thoughts based on what people reveal about their lives, and the worn out scripts that have long been implanted into your mind by other people.
Spend more time on you and less time on them and watch your motivation soar. Thank you for joining me for the motivational minute. If you like this podcast, please rate it & review us + share us with your social circles.
