What are the first words out of your mouth when you get out of bed?
I used to throw out cuss words like I was grabbing candy on Halloween. I had such a negative pep talk with myself.
Does that sound like you?
Or is it more of a mumbling followed by some moans and groans as you’re climbing out of bed?
When was the last time you gave yourself a positive pep talk?
So, for your 60 second motivational minute for the week…
If you have trouble getting out of bed in the morning, start practicing positive self-talk. When your alarm goes off in the morning, instead of grumbling and hitting the snooze button, tell yourself, “I can do this!” By affirming yourself in this way, it will make it easier for you to get out of bed and get going in the mornings.
