How much passion do you have for your projects?
Today I was talking to a friend of mine about starting her business. She’s been putting it off for years. She wants to do it – but she doesn’t feel much passion behind it.
I told her that despite knowing that people need to read my upcoming book, “Soulful Connections,” and I love talking about the connections – I haven’t felt much push behind the project. That’s why it’s taken me 15 yrs to write the darn thing.
We hear a lot about passion. “Follow your passion and the money will come.”
You know what – that “oomph” doesn’t seem to be as important as people make it out to be.
So, for your 60 second motivational minute for the week…
Pick a project that you know needs done, but you have little or no “get-up-and-go” towards it. Start work on the project today & follow it through to its end focusing on the reward of no longer having to think about said project. You may be surprised with passion bubbling up during your project’s journey.
