How do you set your goals?
Do you write down something like, “expand my business” or “meet a new love?”
Then what happens? Does your business expand or does new love enter your life?
My gut tells me no.
A better way to set goals is to use the SMART Goal setting system. If you are not familiar with SMART, it is an acronym that stands for specific, measurable, assignable, realistic, and time-related. Each component deals with a part of goal setting.
Take the new love goal:
Specific: Want a new love that will lead to marriage.
Measurable: I get married.
Assignable: Join online dating sites like plenty of fish or soulful connections + enlist the help of friends.
Realistic: Yes
Time-related: Meet him within a year from today.
So, for your 60 second motivational minute for today…
