Motivational Minute: Factor In Some Buffer Time

Motivational Minute: Factor In Some Buffer Time

Adding in some buffer time goes a long way in getting things done.

Do you go from one task to another, zooming through so you can finish what’s on your list?

How’s that working for you?

Studies show that by adding in a buffer time between tasks helps you to keep focus and stay motivated.

So, for your 60 second motivational minute for the week…

Allow yourself downtime between tasks to breathe and clear your mind. When you rush from task to task, it can be difficult to stay focused and motivated and when you are – you appreciate what you’re doing.

I like to set a timer for 50 min. Once it goes off, I give myself a 10 min break. Then I’m right back at it – setting my alarm to 55 min. It’s amazing how must more I get done by factoring in buffer time. Thank you for joining me for the motivational minute. If you like this podcast, please rate it & share us with your social circles.
