What a week! Gotta a new kitty in the house and his name is Simba! The little lamb chop arrived here on Sunday. After a small storm we had – I heard him meowing up a storm under my deck. It took some doing, but I finally got him to come out. Took him to the vet – besides some worms and ear mites – this 3 mos old is in good health. He has fit right in with the other animals.
Sometimes I have to ask myself – why? Why in the world do all these animals find me? It didn’t used to be this way.
Then I remembered that animals have a natural high energy vibration. They don’t need to work on it like us humans do. Over the years as I raised my energy vibration more animals sense it and are attracted. Now if I could only use it to find a good man – lol. But anyways…
That’s what dawned on me. At the rate I’m going I should have my own private zoo in a few years. I’m not sure if I should cry or jump up and down for joy. HA!
For those of you along the east coast and even a bit inward — Irene may not be a Category 4 or 5 hurricane – hell, she may not even be a 3 by the time she hits land. But don’t let it fool you. Power outages, flooding, short supply on fuel (at last look the east coast was shutting down it’s refineries). There’s nothing wrong with being cautious. Hell – NYC is shutting down their mass transit system Sat afternoon and so is Philadelphia. There is not shame in being cautious. Don’t forget about your pets too – plenty of water and food to last them several days. And meds for whoever needs them. Know someone who is disabled or elderly? Look out for them – check on them. Their relatives may be too far away to help. Never assume that anyone is ok.
ABC News is doing a series of specials aimed at Hunger in America. According to their research – 1 out of 6 Americans or 1 out of 4 children are hunger insecure. Meaning, when they wake up in the morning they are not sure if they will get to eat that day. This is greatly disturbing to me. It should be to you too. Where is the telethon for this? Where are the celebrities lining up to raise money? Why is it that we are more concerned what happens in other countries than what happens in our own back yard? Don’t get me wrong – I think we (as in the US) should help whomever we can – but that same charity we show to the world, needs to be shown at home.
So this was my son’s first week of school. It’s not going well. 5th grade so far has been a bust. He has a teacher he had before who doesn’t like him and math isn’t going all that well. Today (and yesterday) he came home crying because of the math. Him and multiplication have always had their differences – and it’s really causing a problem now. He knows his mult table – but when he gets timed he freezes. SIGH. But he is somewhat happy to do band. Wants to play either the trombone or violin (I know – what a difference).
Because mercury is now DIRECT. YAY TEAM! And today is Friday — it’s a PERFECT night to light a candle for the one you love (or want to love).
If you’re in a relationship – PINK candle.
Want a new relationship – ORANGE candle.
Carve your name and your beloved’s name (if known) into the candle. Place it in the SW corner of your bedroom. Light the candle while you imagine either attracting a new love or strengthening the love you already have in your life.
